To The Daily Sun,
Deirdre McEachern’s lifelong work as a negotiator and certified New Hampshire Peacekeeper makes her exactly the kind of leader our state legislature needs. Peacekeepers training teaches how important listening and connection calm high‑emotion gatherings — hearing people out and finding common ground before situations escalate.
A first‑generation American who paid her own way through school, she rose from entry‑level assistant to director of sales operations for a 400‑person division, founded a New Hampshire tech company and transitioned it to employee ownership, and earned a master’s in conflict resolution. She’s authored a practical self‑help book, worked as an educator, and served as a master certified small business and career coach. That blend of negotiation, problem‑solving, leadership, and knowledge of tax and education policy equips her to craft effective, practical solutions. With long practiced skills, experience and achievements, it’s hard to believe she’s only one person.
I've had many conversations with Deirdre; she's genuinely honest and deeply caring. Her civic involvement shows deep community commitment: volunteering with the Wolfeboro Watershed Association; serving on the Wolfeboro Festival of Trees committee; membership in the Wolfeboro and Tuftonboro Lions Clubs; supporting theater and the arts; and active work in church and youth programs. She has stepped into difficult situations — advocating fair teacher pay, supporting entrepreneurs through change, and serving on nonprofit and school boards — always empowering others through kindness, listening and principled action.
I'm proud to endorse the best and most qualified candidate for state representative District 6, Deirdre McEachern. She's practical, proven, principled, and prepared to serve. Her de‑escalation skills, ability to connect and negotiate across differences, and tireless commitment will bridge divides that seem to plague Concord. She will deliver common‑sense solutions and legislation for housing, childcare, healthcare, and local jobs, while protecting our schools and natural resources.
