To The Daily Sun,

Gov. Kelly Ayotte should join Oklahoma and Vermont Republican governors in denouncing what Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker calls an invasion of Chicago by the Texas National Guard.

Moderate Vermont Republican Gov. Phil Scott told a Vermont news organization, “I don’t think the military should be used against our own people ... it’s unconstitutional.” Conservative Oklahoma Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt said sending in troops from another state violated states’ rights. He said other GOP governors should be asked their thoughts.

So what does Gov. Ayotte say? After all, we chose Kamala Harris over Donald Trump. Today retribution, anti-American, defy-the-constitution behavior has become the norm. Will troops be sent to confront the peaceful protests in Concord, Conway and Wolfeboro or maybe to Portsmouth International Airport at Pease to ensure the disappeared immigrants remain nameless and faceless to the general public? Or would she be OK if they sent troops to Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts or really any other state?

Gov. Ayotte must tell us where she stands. Silence is complicity. We the people need to speak out too and to call her at 603-271-7676 to encourage her to break the silence and do the right thing for New Hampshire and our nation.
