To The Daily Sun,
Let me share why I’m voting for Kurt Webber for New Hampshire State Senate.
Kurt has the brains, the leadership experience, and heart to bring constituents together, and to move District 2 and New Hampshire forward.
In every avenue of service Kurt pursues, he rises to leadership. He joins the Boy Scouts ― and earns his Eagle Scout designation. He decides to enter the military ― and graduates from West Point. He joins the Army ― and serves 23 years in Infantry and is selected for Special Forces. He is a Green Beret.
Kurt has a keen mind. He taught at West Point for two tours, and at Lakes Region Community College for 16 years. Maybe it is his Army experience, but Kurt approaches problem-solving as a team-oriented challenge. He is willing to listen to alternative solutions, and then take responsibility for his own decisions. I think we need more people like that in our Legislature.
Please do check out Kurt’s record of achievement at webbernh.com. Readers will see how involved he has been in his community for decades as Boy Scout troop leader, Rotarian, volunteer football coach, and as a member of Gunstock ski patrol. Importantly, he served for many years on the Gilford School Board, two of them as chair.
What a webpage might not show is Kurt’s dedication and heart. Getting to know him through this campaign, I see how much he cares for our our elders, our children, our young families struggling to find housing. He has founded two organizations to serve New Hampshire veterans, first responders and their families. He really wants to make a difference, and he is determined to work across the aisle, build bridges, and get things done in Concord.
Consider voting for Kurt.
