To The Daily Sun,
I am proud to be supporting Lilly Machos for Ward 3 city council in Franklin. I have known Lilly from almost the first day she moved here as she “tossed her hat in the ring” to become a volunteer at a local organization. Her energy and enthusiasm for all things community have always been evident. She and her husband are raising their family in Franklin.
One thing that stands out is that Lilly has regularly attended Franklin City Council meetings for as long as I can remember. This shows care for her community and a desire to be informed. She will be no stranger to the workings of this council.
Lilly will be a listener, a collaborator. She will treat others with respect. Her very presence will help lower the temperature on what has become a rather contentious political atmosphere. I trust Lilly will use her intelligence and calm demeanor to be a uniter. Ward 3 voters would do well to cast their votes for Lilly Machos for city council.
