At a time with so many of our nation's leading health experts, including Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birk's, warning us against large groups of people gathering in one place, It is my hope that the Laconia City Council will reconsider its decision and cancel Bike Week this year.
I am a caregiver to an elderly parent with many health issues and I very am concerned about an influx of thousands of people to the area. The risks are too high and a crowd this size is a recipe for disaster. It also goes against CDC guidelines.(Please refer to their website CDC.Gov)
I urge the council to reconsider and cancel this years Bike Week. For the health and safety of all citizens. I don't want to see N.H. become the next Florida ,Texas or Arizona.
