John Demakowski: Women's rights include all women's right to life

I read a letter in The Daily Sun concerning abortion stating that Democrats "will stand up for women's and their children's and grandchildren's rights." In this, we are talking about killing a human life. People who favor liberal abortion laws try to render that truth as being somewhat nebulous, but it's not. The reason they do this is to make it easier for a woman and a man to decide to kill their baby and have it not seem so bad. I believe the reasoning goes something like: it's not really a human life yet so it's OK. In this way, they preserve their liberty to have sexual intercourse without weighing the responsibility of parenthood. But it's not nebulous. It only appears so because those who want to enjoy this pleasure without the responsibility that goes with it want it to be so. The unborn baby is a human life. They call it health care, but it's not; not for that little human life inside the woman, to him or her it's death. Since Roe v. Wade over 32.5 million girls have been aborted. If we were to go on at that rate that's over 617,000 girls per year; how can that woman say she is standing up for women's and children's and their grandchildren's rights, when the most basic right, the right to life, she would deny to 617,000 girls every year. You see the only way you can give a woman this right to an abortion is to take away the children's right to live. I guess it seems easier to kill a baby in the womb than a child that has been born because you don't know him or her yet. But God knows them. Will you dare to touch to kill God's anointed?
