To The Daily Sun,

As a part-time resident of Franklin for over 50 years, I’ve had the opportunity to watch this city evolve — and I’m excited about what the future holds. One thing has become clear to me over the years: historically, city leadership has not placed enough focus on one of our most valuable assets — Webster Lake.

There has often been a perceived divide between the lake’s part-time residents and the city’s full-time community. That’s why I feel particularly encouraged by the appointment of a new city councilor who is not only invested in the lake community but also deeply committed to representing all Franklin residents — not just a select few. Bruce Marshall is the clear choice to support all of those invested in Franklin's Ward 1. He is fully immersed in the city and has the life experience and education to support us in Franklin's future growth.

Please join me in investing in our city by voting for Bruce Marshall on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
