In, "Downtown merchants share hopes, concerns over demonstration," Mr. Mortensen wrote, "Floyd's death has sparked mostly peaceful protests across the country." I don't know Mr. Mortensen's news sources, but I'm appalled at the news videos I see of the riots, looting and destruction taking place across the country.
Perhaps he's not aware of the death of retired St Louis Police Captain David Dorn at the hands of looters. Shouldn't Captain Dorn's death receive equal justice and attention?
