To The Daily Sun,
What a delight to read a political letter to the editor that is smart, thoughtful, calm and polite. It was written by my opponent, Harry Viens. Harry has drop-kicked the current snarky mendacity, sarcasm, and stupidity of recent politics, replacing it with intelligent discourse. On the campaign trail, I’ve always characterized Harry as terrific. He’s better than terrific: he’s a gentleman.
Harry rightfully claims years of public service, finding common ground, and bringing people together. My claim is larger, not because of superior virtue: I’m just a million years older than Harry.
I’m stealing his political argument about who won’t want to vote for me. People who don’t care for kids will run away en masse. Kids should be safe. Whether they’re going to school or a concert, calmness or joy should be the dominating factors, not fear. Their health is paramount. Thanks to an analysis by the Koch Brothers, we know that by having a single server, we’ll save a TRILLION dollars in 10 years. And we’re happy to force pharma to toe the line. We can eliminate the huge discrepancy among N.H. school districts with a plan that should reduce property taxes.
Harry asked everyone to vote. Please vote!
