To The Daily Sun,

We hear on the news that gasoline prices are moving downward, yet in Laconia, it is really slow or nonexistent. A few days ago, I bought regular gas in Tilton near the outlet mall for $3.35. A station across the street advertised it for $3.37.

As I drive along Union Avenue and into Gilford, the prices I see for regular gas start at $3.65, but the next four stations I see are at $3.79. Never mind the silly nine-tenths of a cent that is always there. Maybe these station owners have an explanation. Otherwise, we have been punked by our friends.
