I am writing in support of Karin Salome for the position of Ward 3 representative on the Laconia School Board. I have known Salome for more than 30 years, first as a Pleasant Street School parent and through youth sports, and then as a neighbor and personal friend.
What I have learned over the years is that I can rely on Salome's advice on a variety of matters because she is motivated by a curiosity to understand a subject and reaches her opinions only after careful consideration of the facts.
In both her nursing profession and in her volunteer service to the community, she is known as a reliable and enthusiastic worker.
Salome has a good head and a good heart, and she will be a valuable asset on the School Board.
