I am writing to support Lisa DiMartino, candidate for New Hampshire state representative, District 6: Gilford, Gilmanton and Laconia Ward 2. DiMartino is a longtime member of our community. I have known Lisa as a fellow parent, community member, town librarian, disability rights advocate, health care advocate and leader. For decades, she has demonstrated her commitment to the well-being of our community, including those who are most vulnerable. Lisa’s platform is reasonable and responsible. She seeks to protect our tourism, our local businesses, our employment sector, our economy, and our environment. She will support our public education, community mental health, access to medical care, reproductive rights, disability rights, our county nursing home, affordable housing, the needs of those who are undomiciled, and help for those struggling with substance use disorders.

If there is ever a time to be thoughtful about our local and state elections, the time is now. As a former state representative, DiMartino knows how to get the job done.
