According to some historians, the Smoot-Howley tariffs caused the Great Depression. Since that time, mention of the word “tariff” brought The Scream, a famous work of art by Edvard Munch, to mind. The painting reveals a figure on a bridge, holding his head with an expression of anguish and isolation. The mainstream media's reaction to Donald Trump’s resurrection of the tariff depicts Munch’s Scream.

President Trump again proves the media is hysterical and idiotic. The entire world has lined up at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. to sign free and fair-trade deals with the Trump administration. The English negotiated the first trade deal, apparently realizing they lost the American Revolution and America saved their nation twice in two world wars in the 20th century. Then to the utter astonishment of the entire world, the Chinese Communist Party, facing an economic collapse and street riots, quickly came to the table and negotiated a trade deal on Trump’s terms.

Additionally, over the week of May 12, with the help of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President Trump is forcing the pharmaceutical companies to charge Americans the same as other countries, rather than 300% to 400% more for the same drug. Finally, the president is flying to Saudi Arabia to bring peace to the Middle East and, therefore, the world. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall inherit the Earth.”

Thanks to President Trump for closing the Southern border; deporting thousands of illegal aliens; allowing RFK Jr. and Dr. Mehmet Oz to force the pharmaceutical industry to charge Americans the same as the rest of the world, rather than 300% to 400% more and for being the peacemaker trying to bring an end to world conflicts.
