To The Daily Sun,

According to the Town of Belmont’s website, there are 1,242 people registered as unaffiliated voters in Belmont. I am one of them. I was surprised to learn there are so many of us. If you are also an unaffiliated Belmont voter, please be sure to vote in the primary (Tuesday, Sept. 13). As an unaffiliated voter, you can choose to vote in either party’s primary. If you want to make the biggest difference, ask for a Republican ballot. You have the power to make an important change in how Belknap County government functions. Many of us have had it up to our eyeballs with the nonsense that’s been going on the past few years. Much damage has been done to the institutions that countless Belknap County residents have worked hard to build together over many generations. If you are like me and sick of this nonsense, then be sure to ask for a Republican ballot on Sept. 13 and cast your vote for reasonable Republican candidates who will take their oath of office seriously and work together to address the needs of our community. If you want to know who those candidates are, please check out the Citizens for Belknap Voter’s Guide online at CitizensForBelknap.org.
