Bruce Jenket: Will another political stunt affect the election this November?

While writing my last letter on unequal justice by the FBI and DOJ, I had to look up whether President Joe Biden really was under investigation for impeachment. Here is the CNN article that confirmed it: tinyurl.com/2eruha7b. It provides a roll call of how each representative voted. As expected, it went straight down party lines. Republicans - Yes, Democrats - No. That included Ann Kuster and Chris Pappas.

I have railed for years on the unequal justice in this country. It’s no longer about truth, justice, integrity and honor. We have reached a point where party affiliation dictates opinion. Democrats in the U.S. House and Senate are blind to the fact that the current administration is failing the American people. They fabricate lies to win elections and the Democratic controlled media (both network and social) censor the truth when exposed.

The Russia collusion hoax affected the 2018 midterm election. Claiming Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation affected the 2020 election. Jan. 6 “insurrection” affected the 2022 midterm elections. All were lies or exaggerations involving the FBI and DOJ at some level.

Democrats again are trying to affect the 2024 election with the recent conviction of Donald Trump in Manhattan. They thought his conviction would sink his current presidential bid. It has not. It has only further divided our country.

Here is the indictment by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg: tinyurl.com/5dfjwdyp. Read it. It’s 34 individual charges of the same crime “Falsifying business records in the first degree.” The 34 charges were for 34 individual payments to his lawyer, Michael Cohen. The star witness and Trump's legal counsel that was responsible for informing Trump if the payments were illegal (which they were not).

Will another political stunt affect the election this November? It’s up to each of us to decide.
