Zachary Robert Charles Caldwell, of Franklin, passed away on March 11, 2026.
Zachary was born in Manchester, on July 23, 1992. He lived in the Lakes Region his entire childhood and graduated from Franklin High School in 2010. Right after high school, he served in the U.S. Army for eight years. After he got discharged, he returned to Franklin.
In the summer time, you could find Zachary at the river fishing, hanging out with friends and family, or just relaxing at home watching his shows. Zachary loved the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers. Anytime they were playing, you could guarantee that he was watching the game. He was always ready for an adventure. Zachary had two nieces, Luna and Nova, that he loved so much. Anytime he would see them, he would light up and was always ready to wrestle either of them.
Zachary is survived by his father and stepmother, Clifford and Wendy Caldwell; sister Alexis Caldwell; brothers Joshua and Clifford Caldwell; his nieces Luna and Nova Hill; his grandmother, Shelia Merrow; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Zachary also leaves behind his best friend, Joe Elliot, plus many other dear friends that he loved so much.
Zachary was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Caldwell, grandparents and an uncle.
A graveside service with military honors will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen. A celebration of life will follow at noon, at the Franklin Elks Lodge, 125 S. Main St., Franklin.
