Bruce Jenket: Left needs to take responsibility for their hate & spread the cure

I have been writing letters for three years and I have come to realize that my purpose has always been to provide facts to counter the left’s FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) reporting. It’s become a pastime of mine finding the most outrageous “news” published by CNN, MSNBC, Reuters, PBS, etc. that make an accusation that has no basis in fact.

Here are a few stories pushed by the left-leaning media that faded away without closure. “Jussie Smollett attacked by white supremacist wearing MAGA hats.” Wall to wall coverage for weeks until they found the perpetrators were black and Smollett paid them to stage the attack. I just checked for the latest updates and Smollett is still dragging this out a year later.

“Covington high school student, Nick Sandman, wearing MAGA hat, intimidates native American.” Again, when the facts came out the story faded away as quickly as it erupted. If you do a web search you will find that CNN settled out of court with Nick Sandman for an “undisclosed” amount.

Let’s move on to one of the most despicable media hit jobs by the left which was the Brett Kavanaugh sexual assault allegations. According to the left, there were three separate allegations by Christine Blasey Ford, Debora Ramirez and Julie Swetnick. The latter two rescinded their allegations when investigated. Christine Blasey Ford stuck by hers. Here is a link on her a year later (https://abcn.ws/2Ky05Zx). The article is by ABC news and reports that Dr. Ford received over $700K from a “Go fund me” post and an “Empowerment” award. She received both fame and fortune for convincing others of what they wanted to believe despite the fact that those she “alleged” were present didn’t recall it ever happening.

I’ll reach way back to the Russia collusion story that dominated the lefts reporting until the Muller report turned up zero evidence it was true. How many times did you see Congressman Schiff say that he had “irrefutable” evidence? He was on CNN, MSNBC, ABC and any other left-leaning media outlet that wanted to present the president in a negative light. The problem is he never produced the evidence. And what was his “punishment?” He was put in charge of the congressional intelligence committee by Nancy Pelosi and headed the Trump impeachment “scam” which again failed to produce any evidence.

This is just a small sample of narratives the media has gotten wrong. Why millions of smart people can ignore the facts baffles me. Please, will one of the Trump-hating contributors to the LDS respond to my question? I really want to understand why so many are manipulated by FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real). It may help to heal the what ails this country most. Consider this analogy. COVID-19 is the silent killer that attacks the body. Hate is the silent killer that attacks the soul. The “vaccine” for the latter is love and understanding. We need to each take responsibility and spread the cure not the disease.
