To The Daily Sun,
Once upon a time, there was a nice county by a lake which asked its residents to give just a little bit of gold to pay its workers and help out its most vulnerable citizens. It lived happily for years, with few problems and no chaos.
Then one day, people called “Libertarians” started to move to the nice county. The Libertarians pretended to represent the people, but were mean and didn’t want to give money to help pay the nursing home workers and the jailers at the castle. So they cut the budget until there was no money left to run the county properly.
There was also a ski mountain which made the citizens happy, but the Libertarians didn’t think the county needed a ski mountain and brought in ogres to dismantle it. Because the ogres made such a mess, lawyers were needed to stop the chaos, causing the citizens to have to cough up a king’s ransom of gold to pay for it. This made the citizens very angry, and they voted out the Libertarians.
Then, the citizens sent a decree to all the land that no more Libertarians should be elected, so that peace, and prosperity, and staffed nursing homes, and human services, and public safety, and sensible county management were again the law of the land.
The moral of the story? Don’t fall for the grim libertarian fairy tale, and don’t let county chaos make a comeback.
The end.
