Bob Joseph is a problem solver who cares for people

Please join me in voting to elect Bob Joseph to the NH House of Representatives from Belknap County District 1 (Center Harbor and New Hampton).

A successful state representative must be:

A constituent ombudsmen for his or her district. He or she must recognize that all the diverse and, at times, contradictory views need to be heard and attended to.

A liaison with and between local, county, and state elective representatives and their administrators. He or she needs to be assisting with the coordinated private and public effort in identifying and addressing complex and ambiguous issues.

An effective and efficient steward of both the public interest and our public goods. Someone who thinks of consequences, not simply one voting to reduce revenues and to expect more for less. He or she must possess the wisdom and prudence to recognize what we need to be safe and secure now, while systematically investing in future.

Bob, as a candidate, has the life experiences, the sensibility, and the caring nature to be a successful legislator. His years as an EMT gave him a solid grounding in the workings of complex and complicated systems. Bob’s RN career was spent delivering elder care services, which required working closely with the patient, his or her family, and a variety physical and mental health providers. His career choices reflect his pragmatic, problem solving, approach to life. He’s not given to ideological utopian drifts or predisposed positions. He deeply cares for people and the institutions of government. Bob has learned to keep an open mind, to deal with situations as they exist, and to work with others to find or create workable solutions for all involved. He will serve us well in the General Court.
