To The Daily Sun,

On reflection of a great queen’s life, may she rest in peace, there is no denying qualities that made her a great leader. She was the queen for all the people and while some of her private thoughts may have varied, they were not on public display.

America does not have a king, we have a president elected for all the people. We know his political party and we know that party’s platform. Wouldn’t it be nice if our president remained the president for all the people and let the leaders of his party argue their positions and denigrate members of the opposing party?

The queen’s whole life was on review this past week and you are left with the impression her life was dedicated to the people. While it may just be for four years, our president should be the president for all the people, as he said during his inaugural address.
