To the editor,

The April 14, 2004 Concord Monitor reported "A panel authorized by the Governor to find inefficiencies in the state Health, Human Services and Transportation Departments is composed almost entirely of members of the 'Free State Project' and includes a longtime Libertarian antagonist of the Division of Children, Youth and Families." "Among the panel's eleven libertarian Free State Project members... a (libertarian) member who has not yet moved to New Hampshire."

"The Free State Project hopes to move 20,000 to New Hampshire. The project's charter calls for ..... shrinking the size of the state government by two-thirds, repealing most gun and drug laws, and doing away with public education..." Wow!

Just fantastic! Most know little subject matter wise and are libertarian semi-fanatics. A non-residnet. A person with a huge "ax to grind." Most practically consider the government as the "enemy." Ridiculous!

New Hampshire naturally? Hardly. Thank God Governor Benson must obtain approval from the Executive Council and the state legislature. As a native in my fifty years of residence, I never before have seen such poor, gubernatorial appointments, such as the aforementioned. Is there any remaining doubt? New Hampshire needs a new governor.

"Laconia Daily Sun," May 4, 2004, Republican Senate Finance Committee Chair Dick Green reports Governor Benson told him he had spent millions to get elected and would "do what I want." Guess he thins he bought it, so he owns it? He doesn't.
