Open letter to Senators Gregg and Sununu:
I have been reading about he latest "immigration" bill being pushed through the Senate. I ask that you vote against this horrible bill and work to defeat it.
We need to close the border first. Close the border. This is not rocket science, we cannot deal with the problem of illegal immigration by granting amnesty to those who have already spurned our laws and trespassed on our soil.
After you close the border, close the businesses that hire illegal aliens. Don't pass laws that are not intended to be enforced, pass bills with teeth in them that will be punitive against employers who attract illegal aliens.
Whatever you vote for to deal with the problem cannot include any form of amnesty. If someone is here illegally the minimum they must do to become legal is to leave. Then let them return legally and follow the laws. Let them prove they are worthy of residing here before you let them stay.
