To the editor,
Jim Forsythe is running for the Republican nomination for the State Senate in District #4 because he cares deeply about what is happening in Concord and wants to restore a sense of fiscal responsibility and respect for individual rights to our state government.
Jim is a passionate, knowledgeable and hard working leader. He is recognized as a candidate who would bring youth and new ideas to the senate. As an engineer, he has the background and experience to understand complex issues such as energy. As a father of two school aged children he understands the need for our children to receive a quality education. As an activist for personal freedoms, Jim understands how new regulations and taxes have contributed to difficulties for our small businesses. As a veteran, he understands service to our country and the sacrifices people make everyday to insure our freedoms.
In the past several months, Jim has made a sincere effort to meet as many people in the district as possible, to listen to their concerns and assure them that our state can take a new direction. This is a very important election, as we need a new generation of leaders. However, Jim needs your support in order to make that happen. As an undeclared voter, I would encourage my fellow independents to join with District #4 Republicans to vote for Jim Forsythe in the September 14 primary.
