To the editor,
Some people I talk with say "but Teri has been disabled a lot longer than you were, Margaret."
Fine and dandy, but I, Margaret Waage, was given a great deal of mental and physical therapy. This was especially at a New Hampshire rehabilitation center called "Highwatch," near Ossipee.
Surely, Teri deserves as much and her parents seem able to afford this. Yet her husband (her guardian) has never started this in all the long years of her disability.
My nephew, who had power of attorney, then legal guardianship, sent me from Connecticut to Highwatch in New Hampshire about as soon as I came out of my 10-day coma from a car crash.
As a formerly about equally disabled person, I can only say that it seems that Teri's husband (and his adulterous new "common-law" family) want Teri out of their lives.
