To The Daily Sun,

I am proud to support Andy Hosmer for re-election as our state senator. He has worked very hard for us in Concord, and has accomplished a lot in a bipartisan manner. He has helped lead the fight in the opioid crisis in New Hampshire. He served on the Opioid Task Force, and co-sponsored legislation that was focused on addiction prevention, treatment and recovery. He also co-sponsored very important legislation for the implementation of drug courts in New Hampshire. His efforts also helped support funding for law enforcement to help keep our communities drug free.

As a business owner, he knows the importance of jobs and economic growth. He has led bipartisan efforts to make our state business friendly, and supported legislation that reduced business taxes in New Hampshire for the first time in more than 20 years.

As a dad, Andy knows the importance of access to quality child care for working families. He sponsored SB-511 to offer property-tax relief based on a family's child care expenses. He also voted to support Medicaid expansion, which helped 50,000 hardworking New Hampshire citizens to access affordable health insurance. Andy works hard for us in Concord. He is for the people, he is a good man, and we need to support him for re-election.
