To the editor,
A recent story in the Union Leader about a statewide electric assistance program prompted me to finally look at the detail listing on my PSNH electric bill. I found that this program is funded by all customers via a charge listed on your utility bill as a "SYSTEM BENEFITS CHARGE".
Apparently this surcharge has provided more than $10-million to help more than 28,000 households pay their electric bill since last October.
If you are having a difficult time paying your electric bill you might want to check out this program!
