To the editor,
It seems every where I go lately people all say the same thing to me: "You are the one who wrote the editor". And just how did I get to be so popular all of a sudden? They tell me it is because I am "not afraid to tell it like it is". Sometimes I feel like the old E.F. Hutton advertisements.
Anyway, i just want to let the others like me know "you are not alone" and the bigger they are the harder it is going to be for them to survive a change in their living situation. You and I, the lower half of middle class, are used to living on nickels and dimes. We will survive. We have no need to jump out of windows because our pocket books are thinner; they have always been thinner. Now the trick is to stay on our feet and watch the "carpet landers" slowly be devoured by their own greed.
As you watch the government give away more and more money to big banks and businesses, kindly ask yourselves, where is all this money going? . . . inside the united states? NO! Is it going to make your life easier or credit better? NO!
Although I am not running for any office, I can guarantee you, IF I was in charge for six months, New Hampshire would be in the black and there would be jobs here. As long as the greedy rule, we lose.
