April showers? May monsoons! It wasn't raining money, but sales activity picked up slightly in April with a total of 65 units changing hands in towns selected below. That is just under last April's total of 69.
Laconia and Franklin led the way with the most activity and most of the sales in the $200-300,000 range. There were no million dollar waterfronts sold this month, but a nice property on Winnisquam changed hands at $727,900 making it the highest sale of the month.
Activity was very slow in the upper levels with only seven sales over $300,000. So if you are selling your home, take steps to make your property the best value in its price range. Your REALTOR can help you decide where you should be priced and what needs to make your property stand out from the competition.
