PORTSMOUTH — Breeze Airways announced Oct. 13 it is adding two new destinations from Portsmouth International Airport at Pease.

The new destinations with reservations being accepted now are:

  • Tampa, Florida (one-stop, no plane change on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting May 26).
  • Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (nonstop on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting May 26).

Breeze, bills itself as a low-cost airline offering flights from underserved markets.

“We’re excited to add nonstop service to Myrtle Beach, giving Seacoast residents and travelers throughout the region another convenient option to get where they want to go,” said Paul Brean, executive director of Pease Development Authority, which oversees Portsmouth International Airport, in a prepared statement. “We recognize that many people in our community have second homes in the Myrtle Beach area or family members who have relocated there, creating a strong connection between our two regions.”

Breeze also flies from Portsmouth to Raleigh, NC, Fort Meyers, FL and Orlando, FL.
