A Hudson man who allegedly solicited sex with a 14-year-old Belmont boy over the Internet has been charged with five counts of felonious sexual assault, a class B felony.
Matthew Caban, 21, of 5 Muldoon Drive, Hudson was released on $5,000 cash bail following his arraignment in Laconia District Court yesterday. A probable cause hearing will be held on February 17.
According to police, Caban contacted the juvenile, traveled to Belmont to have oral and anal sex with him and gave him money in return. The crimes are alleged to have been committed in November and December of last year.
Hudson Police arrested Caban at his home and he was transported to Belmont.
Belmont Police Chief Vinny Baiocchetti described the investigation into Caban's activity as "very quick and intensive".
Because of the nature of the alleged crimes and the age of the victim, the court has sealed the detailed affidavit filed by law enforcement officials in support of Caban's arrest.
