The Children's Story Book Walk at Weirs Community Park is now open. The walk, along one of the park's walking trails, takes guests through Andy Opel's children's book, "The Weirs — A Winnipesaukee Adventure" by following the book's pages, hung on posts along the path. Hosted by the Weirs Community Park Association, the storybook walk will be up until Columbus Day Weekend, daily following the park's hours of 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Weirs Community Park is at 49 Lucerne Ave.
