A Center Harbor woman has been charged with driving while intoxicated after crashing her car on Piper Hill Road on Tuesday evening.
A State Police report stated that Mary Johnson, 55, apparently lost control of her vehicle at about 8 p.m. on Tuesday on Piper Hill Road, rolling her vehicle. Johnson was transported to Lakes Region General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. She has also been arrested for being intoxicated while driving. Investigation into the crash is ongoing, and alcohol is listed as a factor in the crash.
State Trooper Gregg Deluca, responding to the crash, lost control of his cruiser on Ambrose Road in Meredith, striking a tree. Investigation of his crash has initially listed snow on the roadway as a contributing factor.
