Residents of Rollercoaster Road can look forward to smooth sailing in more ways than one this year. Yesterday crews from GMI Asphalt and Paving of Gilford paved the 6,500 foot long road following construction of a sewer line.

Meanwhile, the City Council last month agreed to lower the speed limit to 30 miles an hour and the Police Chief Tom Oetinger announced the department would not seek to prohibit or limit through traffic on the road during Motorcycle Week.
