Ron Rounds of Brentwood is the winner of the 2025 Laconia Rotary Club Motorcycle Raffle. Rounds picked up his prize, a 2025 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Whiskey Firestorm motorcycle, at Laconia Harley-Davidson in Meredith on Thursday morning. The raffle is Laconia Rotary's biggest fundraiser, raising $68,597 this year. Of that total, $30,000 pays for the vehicle, and the rest is distributed to local organizations including The Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation, New Hampshire Veterans Association, Boys & Girls Club of Central NH, Got Lunch! Laconia, Belknap Mill Society, Gale Memorial Library and Laconia Little League. Rounds has been buying the $20 ticket for the Rotary raffle since the '90s. “I never thought I’d win, we just do it for charity,” he said. Granite VNA is currently holding a Harleys for Hospice raffle, with 4,000 tickets available. That prize is a 2025 Whiskey Fire on Vivid Black Harley-Davidson FLFB-Fat Boy, valued at $24,000. The winner can opt to take the $24,000 in cash instead, and will be announced at Laconia Harley-Davidson on Saturday, Oct. 18.
