A story in our Wednesday, January 27 edition concerning a petitioned warrant article that would impose restrictions on noise in Belmont Village incorrectly stated a similar initiative in 2008 never made in on the ballot because of legal issues. In fact, voters defeated the proposed noise ordinance at he polls.
