Children enjoy exploring Gilford Department of Public Works' street sweeper and a roadside mowing tractor at a touch-a-truck event during National Library Week at Gilford Public Library on Thursday morning. Each day of the week featured a unique chance to see a big rig up close: police on Monday, department of public works on Tuesday and Thursday, fire department on Wednesday, and school bus on Friday. If children attended at least four days, they received a prize.
