LACONIA — Barbara Ann Beaule, 87, of Union Avenue, passed away on Aug. 11, at Concord Hospital-Laconia.

Barbara was born on Feb. 16, 1939, in Belmont, the biological daughter of the late John Maltais and Evelyn (Lapointe) Maltais. Barbara was adopted by Henry and Letitia Thibodeau at a young age and grew up in Boston, Massachusetts.

Barbara enjoyed eating out, her family and friends, playing cards, watching movies, reading, and having a good laugh. She loved the sound of rain on the roof and taking a nap. Her laughter and quick wit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara is survived by her son Arthur Caruso; daughters Sherri Caruso, Susan St. Pierre and her husband Steve, and Alicia Cardinal; brothers Danny Maltais, Richard Maltais and John Maltais Jr.; grandchildren Gage, Janessa, Madyson, Chloe, Christopher, Jeremy, Henry II, Letitia, Joshua, Jessica and Ciara; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara is predeceased by her husband Francis Beaule; son Henry Caruso; daughter Charisse Caruso; sisters Rita, Joeanna and Jeannette; brothers Arthur, Freddy and George; and grandson Steven Copp.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, Aug. 22, at St. Lambert Cemetery.
