Bernini Pizzeria and Wine Bar readies to reopen next month

Crews working on renovations at Bernini Pizzeria and Wine Bar have been at the restaurant site, on Union Avenue in Laconia, since October. The construction was well underway this month, clearing the patio area and framing and constructing exterior walls. The expansion will offer more seats — there will be 115 inside the dining room. There's also a new private dining room, larger hostess station with a stand-up bar, a new seated bar and a family bathroom, according to owner Brianna Heney. The restaurant is hiring, according to a recent Facebook post. Heney said she expects to reopen next month.
