The AutoServ Dealership Group yesterday announced that it has acquired McGreevy Buick-Pontiac-GMC on Prescott Hill (Rte. 106) in Belmont, adding General Motors products to those of the other nine vehicle manufacturers sold and serviced at the firm's six locations.

Founded in 1990 by Paul Gaudet, Sr., AutoServ is headquartered in Tilton, where its flagship dealership at the junction of I-93 and Route 3 sells and leases Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Kia models, along with an inventory of used cars. A second outlet in Tilton offers Nissan products. The company also operates in Concord, Plymouth and Newport.

"We are proud to add these fine GM vehicles to our line of products," Gaudet said yesterday. "We will make it our goal to capitalize and improve on the McGreevy reputation."

The McGreevy dealership was begun as a family business in 1968. "We couldn't be more pleased that the Gaudet family will be continuing our tradition of customer service, community involvement and family values," said David McGreevy. "We chose to sell to a family who shares our philosophy of doing business."

The management team at AutoServ is headed by Paul Gaudet, Sr. and includes Dennis Gaudet, Paul Gaudet, Jr., Donna Gaudet Hosmer and Andrew Hosmer.
