NORTHFIELD — There were no reported injuries after a car carrier jackknifed across Interstate 93 over the weekend, according to State Police.Â
At 12:53 p.m. on Jan. 17, State Troopers received a report of a jackknifed tractor-trailer blocking traffic on I-93 southbound, near Exit 20, at mile marker 56.
State Troopers assigned to the Troop E barracks responded to the accident, and through their investigation, determined the truck was driving south when the driver apparently lost control, went into the median then back onto the highway before crashing into the right-hand guardrail.Â
Interstate 93 southbound was closed for about one hour as the tractor-trailer was towed and traffic was directed off of Exit 20.Â
No injuries were reported, and no charges were filed.Â
State Troopers were assisted by members of the New Hampshire Department of Transportation and the Tilton Police Department.
