LACONIA — Laconia police handled 176 service calls between noon last Thursday and noon Monday, March 18.
Five people were arrested.
Debbie Gilmore, 49, no fixed address, was arrested twice for breach of bail.
Austin Brue, 26, of Lafayette Street, in Laconia, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled drug.
Rory J. Smith Sr., 48, of Seabrook, was arrested on charges of domestic violence simple assault, domestic violence criminal threatening, and obstructing the report of a crime or injury.
Michael L. Ford, 53, of Overland Street, in Laconia, was arrested on a charge of simple assault.
Crystal M. Merchant, 35, no fixed address, was arrested on charges of driving after her license had been revoked or suspended, driving a vehicle with a suspended registration, and misuse/failure to display plates. She was also arrested on a bench warrant.
Officers conducted 33 motor vehicle stops, and investigated a traffic accident on Court Street.
Police investigated reports of thefts on Spring Street, Blueberry Lane, Main Street, and Center Street.
Reports of vandalism at the Merrill Fay Arena, and on Arch Street were investigated.
Police investigated reports of criminal trespass at the Laconia Public Library, and on Jackson Street.
A report of criminal threatening on Penny Lane was investigated.
Two separate incidents of shoplifting at Walmart were investigated.
A report of fraud on Shore Drive, and harassment on Messer Street were investigated.
Police dealt with one mental health emergency.
Officers responded to 15 disturbance calls, including four reported incidents of domestic violence.
Laconia police handled 55 service calls during the 24-hour period ending at noon on Wednesday, March 20.
There were no arrests.
Officers conducted 11 motor vehicle stops, and investigated a traffic accident at Main Street and Union Avenue.
Police investigated the reports of a theft at the Circle K store and an incident of shoplifting at Shop Express.
A report of harassment at Elm Street School was investigated.
Police investigated a report vandalism at New Hampshire Ball Bearing.
Officers responded to one disturbance call.
