LACONIA — Police handled 116 service calls between noon last Friday and noon Monday.
Beorne C. Lavoie, 46, no fixed address, was arrested on two charges of criminal mischief, as well as a charge of resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
Charles Marriner, 44, of South Main Street, was arrested on two charges of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, three charges of simple assault, and one charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Officers made 26 motor vehicle stops which resulted in 22 drivers being given written warnings. Traffic accidents on Union Avenue, and on Communications Drive were investigated.
Three calls dealt with juvenile matters.
Police investigated reports of theft on High Street, and at 409 Pub & Grill, the Normandin Square Apartments, and at Union Avenue Automotive Service.
A report of a burglary at the Colonial Theatre was investigated.
Police investigated a report of shoplifting at Family Dollar.
Officers responded to a report of a mental health emergency at Lakes Region Mental Health Center.
Officers responded to 13 disturbance calls, including two which were classified as domestic disturbances.
