Former Laconia resident sought as fugitive from Dept. of Corrections

CONCORD — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is attempting to locate and arrest parole fugitive Michael G. Dewhurst, 47. Dewhurst is wanted for violating parole through reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, leaving court supervision and other charges. He is described as someone with violent tendencies, and has a history of convictions for resisting arrest and disobeying an officer.

Dewhurst, also known as "Mike" or "Ponytail Mike," was last known to be residing in Laconia, prior to running and has been seen in Manchester. His social media activity indicates he is from Saugus, Massachusetts, and currently resides in Manchester.

Dewhurst is described as a white male, 5'11" and 225 pounds. His eyes and hair are brown, and he has a buddha tattoo on his right shoulder. Photos on social media show Dewhurst to have a brown and gray beard and mustache, with brown hair often pulled back in a ponytail. He is known to wear a hoop earring in his left ear and has a clear bump on the corner of his left eyebrow.
