CONCORD — Michael G. Dewhurst, who was wanted for probation violation stemming from a conviction of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, was recently apprehended by Boston police.

Dewhurst, 48, has been sought by the New Hampshire Department of Corrections since September 2023. He was arrested on May 7, on multiple warrants issued out of Roxbury District and Quincy District Courts. Upon contact by Boston PD, Dewhurst resisted arrest, resulting in a minor injury to one of the officers involved. Dewhurst has been charged with resisting arrest in addition to the previous warrants.

Before leaving supervision, Dewhurst was last known to be living in Laconia.
