For those The View fans hoping to catch an all-new episode of the talk show on Friday (May 22), well, the bad news is that the ABC daytime show is airing a repeat. Instead of airing a new show — even one that was pre-taped on Thursday, like most Fridays are — the network will feature a re-broadcast of a prior show.

Fans should not worry that this is a sign of trouble for the show, though. Instead, the show is simply on holiday for the extended Memorial Day weekend. So when will The View return? Read on to find out all of the details.

Why isn’t The View new today?

The View is on a very brief hiatus for Memorial Day weekend.

When will The View return with new episodes?

According to the show’s audience ticketing site, 1iota, the show will return with new episodes next Tuesday (May 26).

What is airing in The View‘s timeslot until then?

Friday’s airing, at 11a/10c, will be a repeat of the April 23 The View episode featuring Running Point stars Kate Hudson and Justin Theroux, along with comedian Nikki Glaser.

The “Weekend View,” which runs on Saturday (May 15) and Sunday (May 16), will feature Sheryl Underwood and Chelsea Handler talking about the Kevin Hart roast, Tiffany Haddish, Billie Eilish, and Real Housewives of Rhode Island stars. Monday’s (May 25) episode will also be a repeat.

Who will appear on the show when The View returns with new episodes?

The guest(s) for Tuesday’s return episode are still under wraps, but Wednesday’s (May 27) show will feature TV star Mindy Kaling. Then, on Thursday (May 28), the show will welcome the one and only RuPaul, along with the stars of Cats: The Jellicle Ball. Thursday’s (June 1) show guest(s) remain to be announced as well, but the following week, fans can expect to see Marlon and Shawn Wayans, former first lady Dr. Jill Biden, Nicholas Galitzine, and Kara Swisher. The following week will see the introduction of Laverne Cox, former guest cohost Sheryl Underwood, Harvey Guillen, and Emily Blunt.

The View, weekdays, 11a/10c, ABC
