Episode 8 of The Traitors ended with an ultimatum for one contestant. Were they murdered or did they join Rob Rausch (Love Island USA) as a Traitor and murder together? Find out who remained and who left on Season 4.
Hosted by Alan Cumming, the Peacock show features a group of people, with some of them being Faithfuls and some of them being Traitors. Who are the Traitors?
A twist this season was that the first Traitor would be picked in front of everyone. The competitors had to stand in front of Cumming as he opened up a trunk. If it was empty, they were safe. If it had the traitor card in it, they became the first Traitor. However, they weren’t revealed right away.
The other Traitors picked at the round table were Candiace Dillard Bassett, Lisa Rinna, and Rob Rausch.
The fourth Traitor remained a secret and did not meet the others. They had the full say in who gets murdered and produced a shortlist of people eligible for murder for the other Traitors to decide. Donna Kelce was revealed to be the Secret Traitor and was banished in Episode 2, so the twist ended.
Nam was recruited in Episode 9 after Rausch remained the only Traitor.
Who was eliminated from The Traitors?
Episode 9
Episode 9 opened up with Eric Nam finding out Rausch was a Traitor. He had a decision to make, and he chose to become a Traitor instead of ending his game and being murdered. The men then had a decision to make on who to murder. Rausch and Nam decided between Dorinda Medley, Stephen Colletti, and Natalie Anderson.
Murdered: Dorinda Medley
Rausch and Nam decided that Medley was the best choice since it wouldn’t point back to either of them and it would be a shocking murder.
For the challenge, they had the chance to put $18,000 in the prize pot. All they had to do was sit in a box and figure out what the Traitors would answer for a series of questions. If they matched the Traitors’ answers, they would win money. Rausch and Nam decided to go for Tara Lipinski for every answer to throw everyone off. They banked only $2,000 because of it.
At the end of the challenge, the Traitors had to decide who to shortlist for murder. They had to pick four people, and whoever they chose, their boxes wouldn’t open. They went with Lipinski, Anderson, Johnny Weir, and Kristen Kish.
At the round table, Weir and Lipinski tried to get the heat off of Weir by calling out Colletti. Weir said it was weird that he and Dillard Bassett talked privately before the previous roundtable; they had never interacted before, and then she was revealed to be a Traitor. Other people said it was weird that Lisa Rinna, who was also a Traitor, put all of her gold in his trunk a few weeks prior.
Banished: Stephen Colletti (Faithful) with five votes (Johnny Weir received two and Tara Lipinski received two)
Anderson also forced Rausch to reveal that he has the dagger, which gives him two votes at the Roundtable, but he didn’t use it.
