Season 2 of NBC‘s comedy, St. Denis Medical, is on the way and taking shape as the network announced additional guest star casting.

Season 2 of St. Denis Medical will officially premiere on Monday, November 3, with back-to-back episodes airing at 8/7c on NBC.

Who will star in St. Denis Medical Season 2?

Season 2 of the series will see the core characters from the mockumentary return, including Wendi McLendon-Covey as Joyce, David Alan Grier as Ron, Allison Tolman as Alex, Josh Lawson as Bruce, Kahyun Kim as Serena, Mekki Leeper as Matt, and Kaliko Kauahi as Val. Meanwhile, Love Island USA host and former Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix is set to guest star as Dr. Emerson. It has since been announced that Madix’s fellow Love Island USA colleague, Jeremiah Brown, would step in to guest star as Jeff, a handsome Ultimate Frisbee jock waiting for his roommate to be discharged from the hospital.

Additionally, it’s been announced that Kristen Schaal will guest star as Ashley, a “bookish sci-fi enthusiast” who has an unexpected meet-cute with a member of the St. Denis team. Lauren Weedman will play a retired charge nurse named Pam, who comes back to help out while St. Denis is understaffed. Frankie Quiñones will play Leslie, a security guard who is up on all of the hospital’s gossip. Lauren Lapkus has been tapped to play a pregnant woman accompanying her husband, played by Tim Baltz, to the hospital after a gender reveal party goes wrong. Rounding out the latest guest star announcements is Jonah Beckett, who will play Kyle, a college student whose mysterious illness is stumping the doctors at St. Denis.

The series will likely continue to explore the day-to-day lives of the titular hospital’s staff as they tackle different cases of illness and injury. As an underfunded Oregon-based hospital, St. Denis Medical is the perfect catalyst for creating chaos regarding the staff, meaning there is no limit to the shenanigans its team can get up to.

St. Denis Medical is co-created and executive-produced by Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer. Meanwhile, Simon Heuer, Ruben Fleischer, Bridget Kyle, and Vicky Luu also serve as executive producers on the series, showrun by Ledgin.
