It’s official: Emily in Paris will be back for another season! Netflix announced on January 5, that the show will return for Season 6, and later confirmed that this will be the end of Emily’s European adventures.

Season 5 premiered with all 10 episodes in December 2025, and the story will conclude with the sixth and final season, which has officially begun production. Netflix shared the first photos of Lily Collins, who plays Emily Cooper, on set in Greece, which is where Season 6 will take place.

Season 5 ended with Emily and Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini) breaking up, with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) sending her a note asking to meet him in Greece, leaving the titular character’s future plans up in the air. With Season 6 now confirmed, scroll down for everything we know about the show’s future.

Was Emily in Paris renewed for Season 6?

Yes, Emily in Paris is renewed for Season 6. The news was announced with a video of Collins blowing out a ‘6’ candle on a croissant cake in January 2026.

On May 21, another video featured Collins telling fans, “I just wanted to share something with you all. After six unforgettable years of playing Emily Cooper, I’m here to share that this upcoming sixth season will be our final. Season 6 will bring you everyhting you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily’s adventure of a lifetime.”

Ahead of the official renewal, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos hinted that the show would be returning in 2026 during the streamer’s Q3 earnings call in October.

“I wanted to give you a little bit of color into 2026,” he said on the call, per Show Snob. “We’re really particularly excited about a few things coming up next year like the returns of some of our biggest and most beloved shows like Bridgerton, Beef, Emily in Paris, One Piece, Outer Banks, Virgin River, The Gentlemen, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Running Point, Ginny and Georgia, Lupin, all coming back for new seasons in 2026.”

Including Emily in Paris on this list revealed that the show would get a Season 6 renewal before the news was made official.

Creator Darren Star told PEDESTRIAN.TV in 2024 that he’ll keep making Emily in Paris for “as many [seasons] as they’ll have us.”

When does Emily in Paris Season 6 premiere?

A premiere date has not been confirmed yet, but based on the above, it seems like we can expect new episodes in 2026. With Season 5 dropping in December 2025 and Season 4 coming out in August and September 2024, it’s likely that a Season 6 wouldn’t come out until the end of 2026.

“Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season, which we’re now filming,” Collins said in the May 2026 video. “I can’t wait for all of the magic ahead and to celebrate our final season with you in the most chic way yet. We’re so incredibly grateful and we love you all.”

Who is in the Emily in Paris Season 6 cast?

Well, it wouldn’t be Emily in Paris without Collins, who plays the show’s titular character.

We can also likely expect other series regulars to return: Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Mindy (Ashley Park), Julien (Samuel Arnold), and Luc (Bruno Gouery).

Bravo had been cryptic about his future as Gabriel ahead of Season 5, and was only in a few episodes, but since he was a major part of the finale cliffhanger, we expect him to pop up in Season 6, as well, especially since it’s taking place in Greece.

Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) was re-upped to a main character in Season 5 after his recurring role in Seasons 3 and 4. He had a tough conversation with Mindy at the end of Season 5, which led to her realizing she may have made a mistake by accepting Nicolas’ (Paul Forman) proposal, so this love triangle will likely still be front and center in the sixth season.

One person who won’t be in the cast is Camille (Camille Razat), who left the show after Season 4 due to the natural conclusion of her character’s storyline.

Is there a trailer for Emily in Paris Season 6?
