The Gilford Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a pick-up co-ed volleyball program for adults ages 18 and up from 7-9 p.m. in the Gilford Middle School Gymnasium. This program runs each Tuesday through the spring. There is a $2 fee per participant, per evening. No pre registration is required. Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia conducts a Tuesday Night Meditation Group. 6-7:15 p.m. This group is designed to create a community where you can develop your own meditation practice in a friendly, non-judgmental community. No experience necessary. Sessions consist of a combination of sitting and walking meditations and weekly discussions (no preparation required). Those joining for the first time are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early for a quick introduction. Free will donations accepted.
