Stephen K. Reinholz, 28

LACONIA — Stephen Keith Reinholz, 28, of Laconia, passed away suddenly on March 19, 2017.

He was born on March 18, 1989, in Laconia, son of Sherry LaFrance Reinholz and Lance Reinholz of Laconia.

Stephen was a very simple man and did not need much in life to make him happy. His family was everything to him. He was always there to help out anyone in need, whether it was his wisdom, or just to make them laugh. He had a beautiful and kind soul. Anyone that knew him knew that he struggled in his adult life with depression. He had such a contagious smile and laugh. He had a very unique soul and he looked forward to even the smallest things in life. He was loved and adored by all that knew him.

Stephen was self-employed. He enjoyed fishing, boating, metal detecting, antique hunting, auctions, thrift shopping, painting, cooking, being outdoors, going on adventures, music, and playing guitar. His best memory was the Moultonborough Country Store, which brought him back to childhood memories. He was such a comedian and found joy in making others laugh. He had a heart of gold.

He is survived by his mother, Sherry LaFrance Reinholz, and his stepfather, Raymond Lerp Jr. of Laconia; his father, Lance Reinholz of Belmont; his siblings, Lance Kevin Reinholz of Gilmanton, Hallie Fairchild of Maine, Brian Reinholz of Laconia, Jennifer Reinholz Hingston and her fiancé Collin Torrey of Laconia, and Katie Reinholz of Laconia; his maternal grandparents, Arnold and Betty LaFrance of Northfield; paternal grandmother Pamela Bilodeau of Belmont; his uncles, Jason Stockbridge and his wife Andrea of Kentucky, Carl Stockbridge and his wife Joanna of Franklin, and Skip Duggan of North Carolina; his aunts, Denise LaFrance Houle of Laconia, Heidi Plisko of Arizona, Steffany Duggan of North Carolina; his cousins, Kristy Houle, Jessica Houle, Samantha Duggan, Justin LaFrance, Breanna Stockbridge, Brandon Stockbridge, Ryson Stockbridge, Riley Stockbridge; and his nieces and nephews, Victoria Hingston, Miley Hingston, Mason Torrey, Trevor and Laila Fairchild, Wren and Rina Reinholz, and Melody and Riley Robinson.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Sandra Stockbridge; his uncles, Arnold LaFrance and Bill Plisko; and his close friends, Steve and Jane West.

A private celebration of his life will be held in the late spring.
